Inspections also note items that aren't safety issues
but may affect your cranes ability to keep running.
- Preventive Maintenance Programs
- We offer preventative maintenance to address these crane
threatening issues caught in inspections, as well as
PM schedules to meet your cranes' regular need for proper
oil levels in gearboxes, grease on bearings and exposed gears,
and a well lubricated wire rope or chain. A good example of such maintenance would be
ultraviolet testing for cracks in hooks and lifting attachments, to detect these
before they are visible to the unaided eye!

Preventive Maintenance
Using items identified in inspection reports, preventive maintenance can correct problems while they
are still manageable. Serious down time waiting for replacement bearings, wheels, couplings, and
wire ropes once they are bad. Preventive maintenance allows you to order the parts needed before
they actually break. Catching problems before they require a shutdown can save serious money.
Titan Crane offers custom preventive maintenance schedules for all types of cranes.
A PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE program used in conjunction with regular inspections allows problems to be
dealt with while they are small. Investing in the upkeep of your equipment helps delay or avoid
costly repairs and downtime from equipment failure. Lubrication keeps those moving parts moving.
Unfortunately, many cranes can go years without adequate lubrication - destroying gears,
bearings, wire ropes, and more. A preventive maintenance program includes lubrication of
crucial areas and repair of problems while they are small.
Lubrication
Proper lubrication of moveable parts can add years to a crane's life. Every crane has a
recommended oil type. Improper lubrication can cause hoist load brakes to malfunction
or not provide adequate viscosity for the gears. It is important to use the proper type
and amount of fluids in the proper gearboxes to prolong the life of gears and seals alike.
Couplings, gearboxes, wire ropes and open gears all need a lubrication schedule.
Titan Crane offers proper lubrication on all types of cranes. Cranes, like automobiles,
need regular servicing to achieve maximum efficiency and reliability. We can make your
cranes run longer and stronger by attending to their needs. We offer affordable
pricing and timely service. Contact us today for total crane maintenance, repairs and

Inspections
Inspections are performed in accordance with standards set forth by the Occupational Safety
and Health Administration (OSHA), American National Standards Institute (ANSI), and
Crane Manufacturers Association of America, Inc. (CMAA). We supply clients with a
written report and a CD Rom report of code violations found during the inspections. However,
copies are NOT supplied to any other organization except by customer request. The reports
are not limited to code violations. Reports also list potential problem areas to may be
decreasing the cranes life. A crane may be safe for use, but about to break down.
We identify the threats and offer potential solutions in these reports so you can
properly maintain your equipment.
